Want to get involved at IMSSA? Elections for our executive positions are right around the corner! IMSSA will be selling IMS Apparel at IMS Scientific Day on April 25th at Hart House in the music room from 1-3:30pm! Join us for an engaging online session hosted by IMSSA EDI x Academics on The Graduate Supervisory Experience Survey is NOW OPEN! IMSSA's 3 Minute Thesis Competition is back and will be at Hart House on April 20th, 2024! We are taking late-breaking abstract submissions until April 12th, 2024 at 11:59 PM (EST). All IMS students, regardless of program, are encouraged to submit their scholarly research for an opportunity to practise their written and oral scientific communication skills. Those selected from the pool of abstracts will move on to the second phase of the competition - presentations! A panel of judges will score presenters with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes to be won. Dinner will be served and we will be heading over to Duke of York Pub (39 Prince Arthur Ave) after the event for drinks! Ramadan Mubarak! Hi IMS students, Check out a recap of our first aid training session that happened this past Saturday 🩹🏥Everyone who attended got trained and certified in their Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C, and we learned skills such as CPR on adults and babies, the heimlich maneuver, how to administer an epi-pen, inhaler, and naloxone! This was such an incredible and informative opportunity, and we’re glad that so many people could make it to this event! Hi IMS! Can you think of a better way to destress than making and snacking on delicious oreo truffles? 🤩 I can’t, so please join us on Thursday April 4th from 6:30 PM-7:30 PM for our virtual cooking session👩‍🍳 No cooking experience necessary, and even if you don’t want to cook, feel free to still attend and come hang out! All attendees will be put into a draw to win a $10 e-gift card of your choice!
