IMSSA Warm Hands for Cold Streets Clothing Drive – Site Competition!

πŸ†πŸ• Does your research site have what it takes to win the Warm Hands for Cold Streets Site Team Trophy? Research sites have been divided into teams that will compete to collect the most donations. The winning site team will receive a pizza party AND the clothing drive trophy. Every item you donate will move your team closer to making the largest impact and guarantee you some extra entries for the individual raffle draw. Don’t forget to fill out the tracking form (QR or link) to make your donations count! πŸ•πŸ†

Warm Hands for Cold Streets is an annual clothing drive hosted by IMSSA that provides an opportunity for the IMS community to spread a bit of holiday cheer by donating gently used clothing, food, and toiletries to those in need. Please join us in sharing the warmth this winter by donating between now and January 10, 2024!

Site & Donation Box LocationsΒ 

  • CAMH – Queen St: Bell gateway building – Oasis 4th floor
  • CAMH – College St: 1st floor, close to the Health and Wellness dept. (Walk straight from Spadina Ave entrance, past elevators, go down ramp and you will see boxes on the left)
  • MaRS: PMCRT (Princess Margaret Cancer Research Tower) elevators on the ledge against the windows (getting approval); 101 College St
  • Mt. Sinai/TRI: Mount Sinai Hospital, 10th/18th floor; Lunnenfeld-Tannenbaum Lobby/main entrance
  • Princess Margaret: Ontario Power Generation building 4th floor
  • St. Michael’s: Main floor of St Mike’s (getting approval) OR drop off at 5th floor Wet Lab 5E19
  • SickKids: Text Elsa for drop-off times (via phone or at 18th Floor PGCRL, Yeung Lab)
  • Sunnybrook: M7, on a table between the two main conference rooms
  • Toronto General: 13th floor, Eaton Wing, Department of Clinical Decision Making and Health Care by the Elevators
  • TWH/Krembil: Krembil Discovery Tower, 5th Floor, Lunch Room
  • Overflow (extra space): IMS Office, Room 2374 in Medical Science Building (the box is across from Sarah Topa’s office)
