Please join us for breakfast as we hear from our fellow IMS researchers on their cardiovascular health research:
- Hamzah Khan is using plasma protein biomarkers for predicting adverse outcomes in patients with vascular disease.
- Karem Abdul-Samad is developing and evaluating models to predict heart failure outcomes and support clinical decision-making.
- Manya Lamba is examining cell death pathways activated during ischemic-reperfusion injuries in pediatric open-heart surgeries to determine the optimal timing for protective interventions to minimize surgical complications.
